Publisher 505 Games and developer KUNOS Simulazioni shared a new keynote overview video for Assetto Corsa EVO<\/em>, the latest in their car racing simulation series.<\/p>\n

“Assetto Corsa EVO is primarily a love letter to the automotive world and the petrolheads’ lifestyle,” said KUNOS Simulazioni co-founder and Executive Manager Marco Massarutto. “Our concept of ‘open world’ is designed to let players enjoy every single car to its fullest, whether on the track or public roads, experiencing the pure driving pleasure and simply enjoying the ride.”<\/p>\n

He added, “However, it is worth noting that realism and accuracy remain the key pillars of our AC franchise, in order to provide our community with the most authentic and realistic driving simulation experience we can deliver, and we won’t sacrifice these values.<\/p>\n

“While we understand that Open World could be a very innovative aspect for the game, is important to reassure that this feature is one of the gameplay modes available in Assetto Corsa EVO, that will still be playable in the traditional way. An additional feature to enrich the experience of the layers, on top of the circuits available, for a driving simulation dedicated to maximum realism.”<\/p>\n

The new keynote video provides additional details on the Open World aspect while discussing, Assetto Corsa EVO\u2019s\u2019 new features and content, whilst also giving some hints about what players can expect in the next weeks and following months.<\/p>\n

Following the recent reveals, the game will introduce an open world map that faithfully recreates the iconic Eifel region in Germany, surrounding the legendary motorsports complex, N\u00fcrburgring.<\/p>\n

The Open World map will be released in summer 2025, during the Assetto Corsa EVO Early Access period. It will be released in stages, allowing continuous updates and new content and it will progressively expand during time.The area has been faithfully reproduced using advanced LIDAR technology and a KUNOS\u2019 proprietary terrain technology for an unmatched level of accuracy and realism.<\/p>\n

The open-world area will also ensure a high level of interaction with players who will have the opportunity to interact with local businesses, rent cars, and upgrade their vehicles with aftermarket parts thanks to the numerous workshops and centers (actually) available in the area.<\/p>\n
